LOT Polish Airlines with legal incorporation as Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A. is the nationalized carrier of Poland, founded in the year 1928, and is among the 12 oldest commercial airlines operating in the world. The carrier is registered as the 18th biggest operator of the European mainland, and it has flown to more than 120 places, including Asia, Europe, and North America. Among the first aircraft incorporated by LOT for its commercial flight were Fokker F.VII and the Junkers F.13, which offered international long-haul flights to Vienna and Austria.
The main hub of LOT is Warsaw Chopin Airport and there is also an active secondary hub Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, Hungary. The airline operates scheduled flights to Seoul, Korea, and New York, USA. Besides, LOT Charters is wholly-owned by LOT and it is the secondary carrier providing the opportunity to execute charter flights with LOT's principal fleet from the side of Polish tour operators.
